How did the talks on alliance go wrong?
After all, how did the matter go wrong when it was almost ready, let us tell you its inside story. Actually, during the Haryana election meeting, Rahul Gandhi agreed to an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, after which the Aam Aadmi Party also expressed its desire for an alliance. What will be the formula for the alliance? Several rounds of talks were held between Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha and Haryana Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria regarding this.

According to sources, the biggest hurdle in the path of the alliance was the demand for seats. Aam Aadmi Party demanded about 10 seats while Congress offered 3 to 5 seats. Congress was not ready to give the seats demanded by Aam Aadmi Party. After several rounds of talks, the matter reached 5 seats, Congress agreed to give five seats but BJP has a hold on all those seats. That means despite the alliance, the chances of victory are less.

On the other hand, the local leadership of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party is against the alliance. Aam Aadmi Party has made it clear that if the alliance does not happen, then it is ready to contest elections on 90 seats. On the other hand, the local leaders of Congress are also opposing the alliance with AAP.
