Aaj Tak’s ‘Panchayat Aaj Tak Haryana 2024’ platform was organized during the ongoing Assembly elections in Haryana. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini participated in the first part of the event ‘A unique gift to the BJP’. CM Saini publicly answered questions ranging from the functioning of the government to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election strategy.
On the question of the BJP’s expectations from Haryana, CM Saini said that in the past 10 years, there was no discrimination in jobs in Haryana. A hundred people come to me, fifty have their work done, and fifty have yet to do it, so it will be done tomorrow. People understand this too. Our intention and thought is that whoever comes to us, his work should be done. We work hard for this. The world will be very different in 10 years.
On the issue of anti-incumbency and the BJP’s defeat in five seats in the Lok Sabha elections, he said there is no doubt about our intentions. During Congress, people were not listened to and people were wandering around. CM Saini said there were no anti-incumbents in the Lok Sabha elections. A huge lie was spread. He said the Congress had written a script of lies two years ago and rolled it out in Himachal Pradesh. The government there has been in power for two years and promises from 100,000 jobs to cash have yet to materialize.
CM Saini said his lies would be spread only once but not again and again. They are spreading lies that if Modi forms government for the third time, they will abrogate the constitution. The reservation will be cancelled. Rahul Gandhi went to the US and said if the Congress government comes to power, we will end reservation. Everyone from Nehru to Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi opposed reservations.
Regarding the parliamentary elections, he said that we suffered a lot because of such a script. On Congress’ strategy regarding jawan farmer wrestlers, CM Saini said Hooda Saheb has just come out looking for accounts in Haryana. We asked questions about all three. We said that what we came out to demand was a one-sided account. We asked him after 10 years as CM, how many farmers’ crops had been purchased by MSP and how many farmers had been compensated. Hooda was in the dock over the Congress party’s alliance with the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference.
What did CM Saini say on Agniveer?
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said on the Agniveer issue that for this we have approved a 10% reservation system for every job. We will provide financial assistance to Agniveers who want to start their own business. Regarding the issue of reorganization, he said that a decision would be made based on time. Whatever needs to be done, will be done.
The CM said Vinesh is our daughter from Haryana and when she was disqualified, we had said that the Congress is putting the gun on the shoulders of the players and giving them full respect. Vinesh recently claimed that she has not received anything from the government. Regarding this issue, CM Saini said that we have also fixed the date. A code of conduct was implemented.
He said we have set an agenda for 100 days. We only have 56 days. Our government made 125 historic decisions. On a question as to why more time was not sought from the Prime Minister and the leadership, CM Saini said the Election Commission asked you if you are ready and we said we are ready. What our government has done for ten years, Manohar Lalji has done historic work. This is the party’s decision, and our duty as workers is to implement the party’s decision.
Asked about the replacement of chief minister due to anti-incumbency, Chief Minister Saini said the country needs Manohar Lalji now. Now work for the country. He said lies spread quickly. There was no fire below, only the smoke could be seen above. CM Saini said that our government has also done a good job in distributing pensions to these elderly people who have not received pensions.

From CM Saini to former CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, many stalwarts participated in the Aaj Tak Haryana Panchayat. Senior Congress leader Kumari Selja, former chief ministers Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Deepender Hooda, Raj Babbar, national spokesperson Supriya Shri Nath will also contest in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections.
Along with Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Yogeshwar Dutt and Sakshi Malik, Babita Phogat will also be a part of the program. BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, Krishnapal Gurjar will also be seen on stage in Panchayat Aaj Tak Haryana. Kanhaiya Mittal will also add flavor to the program. ‘Is Haryana in hand?’ The event will conclude with a session in the presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
