Haryana Assembly Elections: AAP releases sixth list of 19 candidates, today is the last day for nomination

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released the sixth list of 19 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. The party has so far announced the names of a total of 89 candidates. AAP released the fourth and fifth lists on Wednesday and the sixth list was also released at night. The names of 21 candidates have been announced in the fourth list, 9 candidates in the fifth list and 19 candidates in the sixth list.

Which names are included among the 19 candidates?

In the sixth list, Aam Aadmi Party has fielded OP Gujjar from Kalka assembly seat, Prem Garg from Panchkula, Ketan Sharma from Ambala city, Gurtej Singh from Mullana, Asha Pathania from Shahabad, Gehal Singh Sandhu from Pehowa, Rakesh Khanpur from Guhla, Ritu Arora from Panipat City and Wazir Singh from Jind.

There were 20 candidates in the first list

AAP released the first list of 20 candidates for the Haryana elections on Monday. Earlier there was a discussion that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party would contest the Haryana elections together but talks could not be reached on the alliance between the two parties.

Let us tell you that the last date for filing nomination for Haryana elections is today i.e. 12th September. Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly is to be held on 5th October.

Congress and AAP contested the Lok Sabha elections together in Delhi, while they contested separately in Punjab. Congress had given one seat to AAP in the general elections in Haryana, on which it had to face defeat. In the 2019 Haryana elections, AAP contested 46 seats but could not win even a single seat.
