Australia vs PAK ODI Series: The Pakistan cricket team has achieved great things on Australian soil. Pakistan won the three-match ODI series in Australia 2-1, creating a huge miracle of winning the ODI series in Australia for the first time in 22 years. In the third ODI match in Perth, Pakistan won by 8 wickets to win their first ODI series on Australian soil since 2002. You will be surprised to know that for the second time in international cricket (i.e. all three formats), Pakistan has won a bilateral series on Australian soil. In 2002, Pakistan achieved greatness for the first time when they won 2-1 in the ODI series in Australia.
Haris Rauf accomplished a great feat
Pakistan lost the 3-match ODI series by 2 wickets. After that, Pakistan launched a strong counterattack and won the second ODI match at Adelaide Oval by 9 wickets. In this match, Haris Rauf played a major role in the bowling as Australia managed to score just 163 runs. Harris took 5 wickets in this match. After this, in the 3rd ODI, Haris Rauf lost 2 batsmen but scored only 24 runs in 7 overs. For this brilliant bowling, he was awarded the Man of the Match award. Apart from this, he was also voted the Player of the Series for taking 10 wickets in the series. He made history with it.
Haris Rauf repeated the great feat of Pakistan’s legendary bowler Shoaib Akhtar and won the Player of the Series award. In fact, Haris Rauf became the second Pakistani bowler after Shoaib Akhtar to win the Player of the Series award in an ODI series against Australia on Australian soil hand. Shoaib Akhtar had previously achieved this feat in 2002.

Pakistan’s bowlers performed brilliantly throughout the series. Haris Rauf took 10 wickets in 3 games while Shaheen Afridi took 8 wickets. Naseem Shah managed to take 5 wickets. Mohammad Hasnain took 3 wickets.
