Two people were killed and four others seriously injured in a horrific road accident in Shahabad Kotwali area of Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district on Friday night. The accident occurred when a speeding car collided with a tractor-tram. CCTV footage of the incident is now becoming increasingly popular on social media.
According to police, the accident occurred near Swaroop Dharam Kante in Shahabad when the tractor driver was making a U-turn from the containment belt to turn the tractor. Just then, a speeding car coming from Shahjahanpur collided directly with the tram. The collision was so violent that the man sitting on the wheat loaded on the cart fell down and the cart was blown to pieces.
A traffic accident killed two people and injured four others
It was learned that six friends, Dheeraj, Farman, Aman, Faiz, Anjal and Irfan, residents of Shahabad town, were returning after having dinner at the dhaba of Sehramau in south Shahjahanpur district. On the way back, his car collided with a tractor-trolley.
After the collision, all of them sustained serious injuries and they were immediately rushed to CHC Shahabad where doctors declared Faiz brought dead. Farman died while being transported to Bareilly. Considering the seriousness of the injuries of the other four injured, they have been transferred to the medical school for treatment.
The police filed a case and started investigation
Rajeev, a doctor at CHC Shahabad, said that with the help of 112 police personnel, all the injured were rushed to the hospital where one of them died. The remaining injured were sent to district hospitals after first aid.
