Shehzad Poonawala and Mallikarjun Kharge
In a statement by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said the ideology and DNA of the Congress party are anti-Hindu and Sanatan. Congress has now said that people wearing saffron and saffron color clothes should not join politics. The Congress believes that saints of Sanatan Dharma should not enter politics, but will they say the same to Maulana and Maulvi?
Poonawalla said the Congress said Sanatan would enter the country under Modi’s leadership. Earlier, he also called “Sanatan disease”, “betrayal of Hindus” and “consecration of Rama temple described as dance and song”. The Congress party has used terms like “white terrorism” and “Hindu terrorism”. Is this said about other religions? Congress has been harming Hindutva for votes. The Congress considers “Bantog to Katog” to be communal and vote jihad to be secular.

Saints cannot become politicians
In ‘Save Constitution Meeting’, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath without naming him . He said either they should wear white clothes or the saints should quit politics. Haq said many leaders of the BJP lived as sadhus and now they have become not only politicians but also chief ministers. They have no hair on their heads and wear “saffron” clothes.
Haq further said that if you are a monk and wear “saffron” clothes, then politics is not for you. On one hand you are dressed in “saffron” and on the other hand you are saying “if you divide you shall be harvested”. The BJP is spreading hatred among the people and trying to divide everyone. He said, What is the purity of the man who wears the garb of a saint and says this? The work of the sages was to unite the country, but they tried to destroy it with their words.
