Hamas chief Sinwar killed in Gaza? Major Israeli claims, now awaiting DNA report

Discussions about the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar have intensified again. The Israel Defense Forces said again on Thursday they were trying to identify Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as one of three militants killed in Gaza a day earlier. Sources say Israel has also notified U.S. authorities of Sinwar’s death. However, the DNA report is still awaited. In fact, a senior Israeli official said that the person killed in the attack was Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the major Israeli attack on October 7. The official said it was more likely that the terrorist killed by the IDF was Sinwar.
