The Hindu side suffered a major setback in the Jawapi case. A Varanasi court dismissed the Hindu petition. The Hindu side has moved the court asking the ASI to investigate the remaining parts of Jawapi. The court dismissed the petition and said the ASI would not investigate the rest of Gyanvapi. Regarding the court’s decision, Hindustan said it would challenge the decision in the High Court.
