The Government of Guyana has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be awarded the Order of Excellence. With this, the total number of international awards received by Prime Minister Modi will reach 19. Like Guyana, Barbados will also present Prime Minister Modi with its highest award. A few days ago, Dominica also announced that it would award its highest award to Prime Minister Modi.

Some of the important international awards received by Prime Minister Modi are as follows.

Saudi Arabia: In April 2016, he was awarded the King Abdulaziz Belt, the Kingdom’s highest civilian honor, by King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Afghanistan: In 2016, he was awarded Afghanistan’s highest civilian award, the National Medal of Ghazi Amir Amanullah Khan.

Palestine: In 2018, he was awarded the Grand Collar by the Palestinian government.
