Due to continuous rain throughout the day in Gurugram on Sunday, there is a situation of heavy waterlogging in many areas of the city. Heavy waterlogging was seen in the Narsinghpur section of the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and areas near Basai and Golf Course Extension Road. According to the update given by the district administration at 8 pm, 70 mm of rain was recorded in Gurugram during the day. Maximum rainfall of 108 mm was recorded in Wazirabad.

According to officials, there was heavy congestion on the Delhi side National Highway (NH-48), Narsinghpur Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Vatika Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, Sohna Road, Basai, Khandsa Road and Pataudi Road. At the same time, the Municipal Corporation also did the work of draining water in many areas.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain at different places in Haryana till August 14.
