Gurugram: Fraud in the name of high return on investment and gift cards through QR code, four arrested

In Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi, the police have arrested four people for cheating people by promising higher returns on investment. Officials said that the police have arrested these people on charges of involvement in different cases of cyber fraud.

According to the news agency report, two accused were cheating people on the pretext of giving higher returns on investment in the stock market. Police said the other two fraudsters were sending QR codes and duping people by pretending to give them gift cards.

He said that the police have recovered five mobile phones, 11 SIM cards and three debit cards from the possession of the four accused. According to the police, the accused have been identified as Kunal Sisodia and Kailash Dhancharan.

Cyber ​​Crime (East) Police team led by Inspector Naveen Kumar arrested him from Jodhpur. The accused used to cheat people of money by promising them investment in stock market and high returns.

The other two accused, identified as Rahul Kumar Mishra and Manoj, were arrested from Sector 37 area on charges of cheating people by sending QR codes and promising to send gift cards, he said. ACP Cyber ​​Priyanshu Diwan said, “We are interrogating the accused.”
