A terror attack occurred on Sunday in Ganderbal, Kashmir Valley. The attack killed seven people. There was a local doctor and six outsiders inside. One of the six people is Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Punjab. Gurmeet is 45 years old. He had worked as a laborer in Kashmir. He was talking to his wife when the terrorists struck. At the same time, he was shot. He told his wife about it on the phone. Gurmeet’s father narrates the heartbreaking story.
Terrorists attacked an under-construction tunnel in Ganderbalgund on Sunday night. A doctor and six migrant workers were killed in the incident. Five people were injured and are receiving treatment. Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Sahowar village in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, was also killed in the attack.
Gurmeet tells his wife – he was shot
Gurmeet’s father, Dharam Singh, told reporters that Gurmeet was talking to his wife on the phone when terrorists attacked Ganderbal. He was shot and killed in terrorist gunfire. He told his wife he had been shot. Dharam Singh said the family learned he was dead after the attack.
Gurmeet has lived in Kashmir for 5 years
Gurmeet’s father told him that he had been living in Kashmir for the past five years. He has been associated with the company for many years. A relative of Gurmeet said the family’s expenses could only be met with his income. The family consists of wife, two daughters, son and parents. He has asked the government for help. The family is devastated by his passing. Family and relatives are devastated.
