New Orleans: The city of New Orleans in the United States echoed with gunfire. Two people were killed and 10 people were reportedly injured in shootings at two separate locations here. The first case came from the St. Roch area, injuring nine people. The second case is the Almonaster Avenue Bridge. The shooting here left two people dead and one injured. No arrests have been made, police said in providing information about the incident. The case is under investigation.
The first incident occurred in the San Roch area
No one has been arrested in connection with either case so far, officials said in providing information about the shootings. According to a news release from the New Orleans Police Department, a shooting occurred in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans around 3:30 p.m. After receiving news of the shooting, police rushed to the scene. Police found eight people injured. It is reported that all eight people were hospitalized. Apart from this, one injured person reached there in a private vehicle.
A second shooting occurred 45 minutes later
Forty-five minutes later, police received information about another shooting on the Almonaster Avenue Bridge. Police said one person died at the scene and the other died on the way to hospital. The third victim was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle and is in stable condition, police said. Police said no one has been arrested in connection with either incident.
