Karachi: A local security guard shot two Chinese nationals after a brawl broke out in the Pakistani port city of Karachi on Tuesday. Two Chinese citizens were injured in the shooting. Police have provided information on the matter. The incident took place at a police station in the “Industrial Trade Zone” area of ​​Karachi, Sindh. Deputy Inspector General of Police Azhar Mahesar said investigation into the incident was ongoing.
Security guard arrested
Azar Mahsa said the reason why the security guard opened fire was under investigation. He said: “Two Chinese citizens were shot and injured after a dispute with security guards. The real reason is still unknown and the security guards have been arrested.”
Chinese citizen hospitalized
The two Chinese citizens who were shot and injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. One of the injured is said to be in serious condition. Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Ranzal has directed officials to arrest the security personnel involved and take strict action in the matter. (language)
