“Groundless”: China dismisses Zelinesky claims, it is supplying arms to Russia

Beijing:

China’s Foreign Ministry on Friday dismissed an allegation as “baseless” by Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski that the country was supplying weapons to Russia.

Despite maintaining close economic relations with Russia during Moscow’s three -year war in Ukraine, China has demanded a project to project an image of neutrality and deny any partnership in the war.

Friday’s discontent followed Zelanski’s remarks at a press conference the previous day that China was supplying weapons and gunpowder to Russia, while accusing weapons in the Russian region.

Ministry spokesperson Lin Gian said at a regular news conference, China has never made any party available to any party for the Ukraine crisis.

“China’s position on the Ukrainian issue has always been clear,” Lynn said. “It has been actively committed to encourage a ceasefire to promote a ceasefire and end the conflict as well as encourage peace talks.”

China opposed the baseless allegations and political manipulation, stating that Ukraine had publicly stated that most of the weapons imported by Russia came from the United States and other Western countries.
