While presenting the budget on Tuesday, Nirmala Sitharaman has increased the limit of tax exemption on family pension (Family Pension Tax Deduction). The exemption on family pension has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 annually.
Government pensioners will now get a discount of up to ₹ 25,000!
