Due to Google Outage, many people faced problems in using Google’s services. After about 1 hour and 12 minutes of trouble, all services started working again. The effect of this Google Outage was visible globally. Google Services were affected due to this outage.
Due to this outage, Gmail, Drive, Search and many services were disrupted. According to Downdetector, a website that tracks outages, the outage peaked at 9PM ET. Because of this many people were not able to connect to these services.
There was a problem on these platforms
According to Google App Status Dashboard, users were not able to connect to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Chat, Google Tasks. This problem started on Monday i.e. on August 12, 2024 at 06:28 in America.
America and Britain are in more trouble
Users all over the world reported about this outage, in which the largest number were from America and Britain. Google said that due to this outage, users faced difficulty in accessing the work space service.
Google confirmed that this was a minor issue, where the power supply to networking equipment located in the London data center suddenly stopped. After this, many users in regions like Britain and England faced connectivity problems, which included the names of Google Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meet and Google Task.
Now the problem has been resolved, service has resumed.
Google has solved this problem and now all the users are getting the benefit of the service. Although it has not shown much impact in India, but America and Britain had to face a lot of trouble due to this outage.
