People got angry at Tanya’s post and started accusing her of defaming the country. People started saying that you are generalizing the issue and defaming the entire country. A user with the ID name @shantiswarup4u wrote – You should be ashamed to call yourself an Indian. This incident has happened in the most peaceful state of the country where the Chief Minister is also a woman. You cannot abuse the entire country regarding women’s safety.

Tanya wrote in another tweet- ‘Because that’s the way it is, unless we pay attention, I don’t think anything will change. I myself have faced exploitation in almost every part of the country. Our society has failed in the matter of women. Unless some strict action is taken, we will not feel safe. Tanya kept replying to the comments of people who were angry with her post.

Tanya wrote- ‘This is not just an incident. Talk to any woman and I am sure there will be no woman who has not experienced something like this. I am also involved in this. Safety standards are very poor and this is India’s problem. People did not like this protest of Tanya at all. Many people even talked about boycotting Tanya’s social media and YouTube channel. While some said – If there is so much trouble then you should leave the country and go to Pakistan.
