Some CCTV pictures had already indicated that the murderer of 20 year old Yashashree Shinde, resident of Uran, is none other than her old acquaintance Dawood Shaikh. And now Uran Police has also confirmed this by arresting Dawood Sheikh from Gulbarga in Karnataka. According to the police, during initial interrogation, Dawood has also confessed to killing Yashashree.
The motive for the murder is not clear

Uran Police says that the motive of the murder will be clear only when the accused Dawood is brought to Navi Mumbai and interrogated. Actually, 20 year old Yashashree Shinde, resident of Uran taluka near Mumbai, was murdered between last Thursday and Friday. Later, the police recovered his mutilated body, which had several marks of being stabbed with knives.
CCTV footage revealed the secret of the murderer
Although the Shinde family had been blaming a taxi driver Dawood Sheikh since the disappearance and murder of their daughter, but when the police collected the CCTV footage around the incident, this story was almost completely confirmed. It became clear how Yashshree Shinde herself was seen walking on foot towards the place where her body was found at around 2:17 pm on Thursday afternoon, whereas barely five minutes later at 2:22 pm Nearby, Dawood Sheikh is also seen going in the same direction. That is, both these footage indicate that both of them were at the same place on Thursday afternoon, where Yashashree’s body was found i.e. she was murdered.
Yashashree used to talk to Dawood often
But this is just a proof. If police sources are to be believed, he has CDR of Yashashree, which shows that he used to talk to Dawood Sheikh and even before his death on Thursday, he had talked to Dawood many times. This CDR is an indication that Dawood had called her to meet and then took her life. Now let’s talk about the possible motive for the murder. What the police is currently trying to find out.
Possible reason for murder number-1- Took life for revenge?
In fact, Dawood Sheikh had befriended Yashashree and exploited her in the year 2019 itself. Yashashree was a minor then. On which his family members had filed a report against Dawood and he went to jail. In such a situation, the family members suspect that Dawood murdered her only to take revenge on them and their daughter. Because he used to keep a grudge against them after going to jail. Obviously this theory is very important. And the police is currently investigating this aspect as to whether this is the reason behind the murder of Yashashree and the brutality done to her dead body or something else?
Possible reason for murder number-2- Murder happened in love triangle?
Dawood Sheikh and Yashashree knew each other and used to talk, this is now clear. Meanwhile, the police have detained for questioning another boy named Mohsin, a resident of Karnataka, with whom Yashshree Shinde used to talk on phone. In such a situation, the police suspect that there could be something like a love triangle behind this murder, in which Dawood gets irritated with Yashashree for talking to Mohsin and in this irritation, he takes Yashashree’s life. But this is still a possible theory. The truth of this theory can be revealed only after Dawood is interrogated.

The police also suspect a fight over marriage. Actually, the police have come to know from some sources that Dawood wanted to marry Yashashree, but the girl was not ready for it. Anyway, both of them belong to different religions. Yashashree’s family members had once sent Dawood to jail on the charges of molesting their daughter, hence Yashashree’s family members were never ready for this relationship. Obviously, Yashashree was also not ready for this and she might have refused to marry Dawood, due to which Dawood in anger called Yashashree and took her life by deceit. The girl had gone missing on 25th July
Yashashree Shinde, a 20-year-old girl from Uran taluka of Navi Mumbai suddenly went missing from her house. On the morning of Thursday, July 25, she had left the house saying she was going to meet a friend. But she did not return home even after it was evening. On top of that, his mobile phone was also switched off. In such a situation, the troubled family members first tried hard to find Yashashree on their own, along with his friends, they also inquired about Yashashree from their relatives. But when there was no trace of her, she lodged a missing report of her daughter at the nearby police station on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
Police had found an abandoned dead body
After completing her commerce studies, Yashashree was working as a data entry operator in a company. According to his family members, his circle was quite limited. In such a situation, even the police themselves were surprised about his disappearance. But before the police could gather any concrete information about him, on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, the police got the news of an abandoned dead body lying near a petrol pump in Kotanaka area. This dead body was of a girl. And coincidentally the age of the girl who died was also around 20-22 years. In such a situation, the Uran police informed Yashashree’s family, so that they could see the body and tell whether it was their daughter’s or someone else’s.
