Nagpur: The body of a 24-year-old girl was recovered from the hillock of Amgaon premises near Ambala in Ramtek. Her lover Mahesh Keshav Valskar had murdered her on 17 August and buried the body in the ground on the hillock.
According to the police, Mahesh Valskar and the girl were in a love relationship. Mahesh had hired Priya in his milk powder manufacturing company 6 years ago. The girl lived separately from her family in Godhani. Mahesh had also started a resort business in Ramtek. The girl used to come here often. Due to the love affair, she became pregnant. Then Mahesh got her abortion done.
The girl was missing since August 16. Her phone was also switched off. When her mother reached her room in Godhni, she found the room locked and lodged a missing complaint at the Mankapur police station. During the investigation, the police reached Mahesh. The police took Mahesh into custody and started questioning him.
During interrogation, Mahesh told that the girl was pressurizing him for marriage. He strangled her to death in a resort in Ambala. After the murder, the girl’s body was buried in the ground. Which was taken out by the police on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Nagpur police exhumed the body of the girl buried in the ground and sent it for postmortem. The accused Mahesh has been arrested by the police. The case is being investigated by the Mankapur police team.
