Akhilesh further said that the by-election was originally scheduled to be held on November 13, but the date has been changed to November 20. Action should be taken against those who spoiled the atmosphere of Sambal and the police administration. A murder case should be registered against them. He should be suspended. Ram Gopal Yadav speaks on Sambhal in Rajya Sabha
Earlier, Samajwadi Party MP in Rajya Sabha Ram Gopal Yadav said: “Police were deployed across Sambhal at 6 am on November 24. People of Sambhal did not know why police were deployed. After some time, DM, SSP, lawyers Some people entered the mosque playing drums with the police and suspected that they wanted to destroy the mosque.”
He further said that the SDM opened the water tank and when the water started flowing out, those present suspected that there was something wrong with the water tank after which the commotion spread there. The police fired multiple bullets, killing 5 people and injuring 20 others. Cases have been filed against hundreds of people, many of whom remain in jail. Not only that, those who were caught were severely beaten.
Ram Gopal Yadav said: “I and many others believe that in the by-elections held earlier in Uttar Pradesh, the police in neighboring districts did not allow any voter to cast their vote and took over the election forcefully. All this It’s all about diverting attention from this.”
