Ghaziabad: BJP MP and candidate Sanjeev Sharma files nomination on last day and declares winner

Today is the last day of the nomination process for the by-elections to nine seats in Uttar Pradesh. In this context, BJP MLA and candidate from Ghaziabad Sanjeev Sharma also filed nominations today. Sanjeev Sharma is associated with the BJP’s Ghaziabad organization and holds the post of metropolitan president. He contested for the MLA post from Ghaziabad for the first time.

In fact, this parliamentary seat fell vacant after Atul Garg became MP from Ghaziabad Assembly seat No. 56, following which Sanjeev Sharma filed today Nominated and declared winner in media interviews. After a long wait, the BJP announced its candidate in Ghaziabad yesterday, a day ahead of nominations.

Sanjeev Sharma is currently the metro president of the party. Sanjeev Sharma, the BJP candidate from Ghaziabad Assembly seat 56, along with his supporters, today reached the Ghaziabad DM office where he submitted his nomination. Ghaziabad sitting MP Atul Garg, state minister and Sahibabad MLA Sunil Sharma, Loni MLA Nandkishore Gurjar and Muradnagar MLA Ajit Pal Tyagi and Ghaziabad mayor Sunita Dayal also came forward to file nominations.

Narendra Kashyap, Minister of State for the Government of Uttar Pradesh, also arrived at the nomination venue with him. BJP candidate Sanjeev Sharma said he had full support from workers and the public and was confident of victory. He viewed all opposition as his rivals. At the same time, completing the unfinished development work in many colonies within the Assembly constituency is one of his top priorities.
