German citizen jailed for 14 months in UP, knows what happened

The Sonbhadra district court in Uttar Pradesh has sentenced a German citizen to severe punishment. The German national was found guilty of fraud and falsifying the validity of his visa after it expired. The court sentenced the German citizen to 14 months in prison and a fine of 500 rupees. Senior prosecutor Satish Verma said when disclosing the circumstances of the case that in 2017, Sub-Inspector Sitaram of the local intelligence department conducted an investigation into Holger Eric Misch, a citizen of Berlin, Germany. Investigation revealed that Holger’s visa had expired. Defendant Holger tampered with his visa and manipulated its expiration date.
