Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President and MP Barrister Gauhar Khan has been arrested. He was arrested from the National Assembly on Monday. Just a day before, PTI workers and leaders had held a rally in Islamabad and demanded the release of Imran Khan from jail.
According to a report in Pakistani newspaper Dawn, a police official has confirmed that PTI leaders Barrister Gohar, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat and others were arrested by Islamabad police outside Parliament on Monday night. Islamabad police spokesperson Jawad Taqi told the newspaper that Marwat, Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gohar have been arrested.
