A gangster wanted for the murder of Tamil Nadu Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief K Armstrong was killed in a police clash in Chennai on Sunday. This is the second time in the past week that the defendant in Armstrong’s murder has been encountered in the city. Seesing Raja was arrested by police from Cuddapa in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday and taken to Chennai in a police vehicle. According to police sources, Seesing Raja was taken to display his concealed weapon in Neelankarai area of ​​​​Chennai, where he allegedly fired at police with a gun. Afterwards, the police shot him twice in the abdomen and chest.

Sisinraja was thereafter admitted to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. His body was sent to another hospital for an autopsy. According to the police, 33 cases are pending in Seesing Raja and five more cases have been registered under the Goondas Act. Sejing Raja’s wife said her husband was out buying lunch when he was arrested. The wife claimed she had nothing to do with Armstrong’s murder.

He said: “He has not been involved in any crime in the past two years. My baby is 90 days old and we live alone. I heard there was going to be a fake encounter. I was really scared. He had nothing to do with the murder.

His wife said there were rumors that he was involved in the murder. Previously, gangster Apu was arrested in Delhi and the police were looking for him on suspicion of supplying domestically produced bombs. After investigation, one of the suspects, Csing Raja, was arrested on Sunday.

The murder occurred on July 5
On September 18, gangster “Kakatop” Balaji, who was responsible for Armstrong’s murder, was killed in a police clash in Chennai. On July 5, 52-year-old Armstrong was murdered by some unidentified persons outside his home in Chennai. In CCTV footage of the incident, four attackers can be seen dressed as food delivery men. Eight people were arrested following Armstrong’s murder. But further investigation led to the arrest of 27 suspects, one of whom, Thiruvengadam, was killed in a police clash on July 13.
