Congress and BSP attack on BJP government

The attack on army officers and the gang rape of their female friend has become a big issue. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and BSP supremo Mayawati have cornered the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi raised questions

Rahul Gandhi wrote on ‘X’, “The violence against two army personnel and the rape of their female companion in Madhya Pradesh is enough to shame the entire society. The law and order situation in BJP-ruled states is almost non-existent – and the negative attitude of the BJP government towards the increasing crimes against women is extremely worrying. This impudence of the criminals is the result of the complete failure of the administration and the unsafe environment that is developing in the country due to this is a restriction on the freedom and aspirations of the daughters of India. Both the society and the government should be ashamed and seriously consider – how long will they turn a blind eye to the responsibility of protecting half the population of the country.”

Mayawati said, the fear of law is over

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati issued a statement and wrote on ‘X’, “The incident of attacking two army officers, holding them hostage and raping their female friends while they were visiting tourist spot Jamgate in Indore, Madhya Pradesh is extremely shameful. The situation is getting out of control because the governments are not taking such heinous incidents seriously. The government should pay attention.

Forget about women’s respect, the bigger the statements made about their safety, the more the incidents of heinous crimes against them that shame humanity continue to happen, this proves that especially the anti-social and criminal elements have lost the fear of law. This is extremely sad and worrying.

Every day millions of women lose courage: Priyanka Gandhi

On the other hand, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote on ‘X’, the incidents of gang rape of a woman after holding army officers hostage in Madhya Pradesh and the naked body of a woman found on the highway in Uttar Pradesh are heartbreaking. Every day 86 women are becoming victims of rape and brutality in the country. From home to outside, from road to office, women are not safe anywhere. Half the population of the country is not only unsafe, but due to such brutality, the morale of crores of women is broken every day. The Prime Minister talks big about the safety of women, but women across the country are still waiting for a serious effort for their safety. When will this wait end?

Jungle Raj in MP: Jeetu Patwari

Apart from this, MP Congress President Jeetu Patwari has said that Madhya Pradesh has been turned into a crematorium for farmers, women and soldiers. The incident of army officers being held captive and their companion being raped in Mhow is very painful. Look at the irony that the soldier who protects the country on the border is not safe in Madhya Pradesh today. What could be more shameful than this? The Chief Minister has turned Madhya Pradesh into a crime state where women, Dalits, tribals, soldiers, farmers, everyone is being tortured.
