The incident of firing in broad daylight in Ghazipur, UP spread panic in the area. About two dozen armed criminals fired several rounds at the shop of a tent businessman in Bhanwarkol police station area. The criminals came in a car and bike. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV.
In the viral video, it can be seen how armed miscreants arrived at the tent businessman’s shop in a four-wheeler SUV and two-wheelers. In this, a man wearing a dhoti is in the front, he is the first to take out a pistol from his waist and fire. Several people with a towel tied on their face follow him. Many of them also fire bullets. Then they flee from the spot waving weapons and abusing.
After which the police reached the spot after getting the information. Fired cartridges and live cartridges were recovered from the spot. The police has registered an FIR after taking a complaint from the victim. At present, all the attackers are absconding.
The victim tent house operator Shubham Singh Patel told that on September 12, he was sitting at the shop during the day. Then Sandeep Yadav of his village came armed with his two dozen companions and started abusing and firing and throwing petrol bombs. Somehow he saved his life by closing the shutter of the shop.
But while leaving, the miscreants attacked Shubham’s cousin Vikas Singh Patel who was standing outside. He survived with great difficulty. According to Shubham- I have complained to the police. Empty and live cartridges have been recovered from the spot. There is an atmosphere of panic due to the incident. There is a fear of loss of life and property.
Meanwhile, in this entire case, SP Rural Balwant confirmed the incident and said that the police had gone to the spot on the information of firing. FIR has been registered. The accused is also a history-sheeter. Investigation is going on. Soon the accused will be arrested and sent to jail.
