In Ghaziabad, UP, a 21-year-old girl committed suicide after being fed up of her friend’s blackmailing. She ended her life by hanging herself at home. The girl has recorded a video on her mobile and blamed her friend Nitesh Nishad for her death. On the basis of this video, the police have arrested the accused Nitesh and sent him to jail.
The entire incident is from Khoda police station area of Ghaziabad, where last Sunday the girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her house. The girl’s family admitted her to the hospital, but the doctors declared her dead. According to the complaint given to the police – the accused Nitesh Nishad was not only blackmailing the girl, but was also threatening to sexually abuse her 14-year-old minor sister. Troubled by this blackmailing, the girl embraced death.
Now the secret of the girl’s suicide case on the night of 17 August has been revealed through her own mobile. Actually, the girl had recorded a video while hanging herself and also told the reason for her suicide, but due to the mobile being locked, it took three days for this secret to be revealed. In the video recorded before dying, the girl has blamed her male friend for all this.
At the same time, the father of the deceased told that his daughter was being mentally harassed by Nitesh Nishad for several months. The accused first exploited her on the pretext of marriage and then started blackmailing her. When the girl protested, the accused started making obscene comments about her minor sister, due to which the girl took a horrific step like suicide.
In the case, ACP Indirapuram said that on August 17, 2024, the girl’s father lodged a complaint, on the basis of which the investigation was started. When the police unlocked the mobile of the deceased, a video was found in it in which the girl held Nitesh Nishad responsible for her death. On the basis of this video, the police arrested the accused. At present, further legal action is being taken in the case.
