A cyclonic storm will hit the Odisha coast next week. This information is provided by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the department’s Extended Range Outlook (ERO), cyclones began to develop in the northern Indian Ocean on Thursday. The impact will be felt in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

According to the meteorological department, a new storm is very likely to form in the central Bay of Bengal between October 23 and 24. The storm born in the region appears to be getting stronger due to the influence of sea surface temperatures and the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO). It has already started. Cyclonic circulation is occurring.

According to the meteorological department, cyclonic circulation will begin to appear in the North Andaman Sea around October 20. It will gradually move towards the Odisha coast. Meteorological department bans fishermen and sailors from entering the sea

Due to the changing weather, the meteorological department has advised to avoid any kind of maritime activities in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea at that time. Don’t go fishing. The Navy was also told to stop work. Because whether a storm is coming or not, there will be very high waves in the sea.
