Four committees for the mosque being built in Dhannipur, Ayodhya have been dissolved following the Supreme Court ruling. For the smooth construction of the mosque being built by the Indian Islamic Cultural Foundation, the trust had formed four committees but later they were dissolved. The reason is that the committees were dissolved. Trust secretary Athar Hussain said that IICF is a trust and for the smooth functioning of fund raising, it needs to take many decisions from time to time.

He said, “Our current focus is to expedite fund mobilization and we remain concerned about anything related to the FCRA account. Therefore, we have dissolved all committees and sub-committees. Our effort is to get FCRA approval as soon as possible and start fund mobilization smoothly. The museum will be built as a mosque and will be a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity. Through this project, we hope to convey the message of Hindu-Muslim unity to the world.”

Athar Hussain said that for a large construction of this level, we need a lot of money and the FCRA approval is very important. We have taken this step to centralize the process. Now we don’t even have the cost of the map and the estimated development cost, let alone the construction. So, besides the mosque, there is also a hospital in charity mode. We have to maintain that hospital and for that we need some big money.
