“Fortunately, Netanyahu did not listen to Biden…” Why did the former US Secretary of State say such words when Sinwar was killed?

Former US Secretary of State and former CIA Director Mike Pompeo pointed the finger at the US government for the death of Yahya Sinwar.

Pompeo said thank God that Israel did not listen to Biden and Kamala Harris’ calls for a ceasefire. If he had heard it, Sinwar would be alive today and plotting to kill more Israelis and American citizens than before.

He said Israel must continue on the right path and eliminate Iranian-backed terrorists, which will ensure a safer Middle East.

Let us tell you that Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirmed the death of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar on Thursday. Israel confirmed this through DNA testing.

Katz said in a statement that Yahya Sinwar, who attacked Israel on October 7 last year, was killed today in an IDF attack. He said Hamas chief Sinwar was killed by Israeli soldiers during the operation. He was the mastermind of the October 7 attack.

Regarding Sinwar’s death, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the man who carried out the most horrific massacre of Jews in history since the Holocaust had been killed. Israel settled the score by killing Sinwar. But our war is not over yet.

Who is Yahya Sinwar?

Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the October 7 attack on Israel, became the leader of Hamas in August this year. Command of Hamas was transferred to Ismail Haniyeh after he was assassinated in an Iranian bombing. Sinwar was born in 1962 and is one of the earliest members of Hamas. Hamas was founded in 1987.

He was arrested by Israel in the late 1980s. Sinwar admitted to killing 12 suspected accomplices, earning him the nickname “The Butcher of Khan Younis.” Sinwar was ultimately sentenced to four life sentences for his crimes, which included the murder of two Israeli personnel.

Sinwar is believed to have planned the surprise attack on Israel on October 7 with Mohammed Deif, the leader of the Hamas armed wing. 1,200 Israelis were killed in the attack, most of them civilians. Since then, Israeli attacks on Palestine have killed more than 40,000 civilians.
