Former SSP of Akhnoor joined BJP, party leaders welcomed him in Jammu office

Former SSP of Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat has joined BJP. He joined the party at BJP headquarters in Jammu. Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and party leaders inducted former SSP of Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat into the party.

During the reception, BJP state president Ravinder Raina made clear the party’s commitment towards public welfare, which includes various schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government aimed at upliftment of the poor and needy. Ravinder Raina emphasised BJP’s commitment towards Sabka Vikas and criticised the opposition alliance.

He asserted the party’s commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” mission and said the National Conference (NC) and the Congress were working on an anti-national agenda.

Targeted NC-Congress

Raina targeted the National Conference-Congress alliance. He attacked Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Rahul Gandhi by pointing to their previous statements about contesting elections independently. He alleged that Farooq Abdullah’s party National Conference has formed an alliance with the Congress due to fear of the rapidly growing influence of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir. He condemned the alliance for advocating the release of political prisoners.

BJP will get strength in 2024 assembly elections

BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma also welcomed the new entrants to the party and said that their joining will strengthen the party in the region. Earlier during his professional life, Mohan Lal Bhagat served the society with full passion and the party is sure that he will serve the needy and work for the party’s victory in the Assembly elections 2024.

It is worth noting that on this occasion, BJP District President and former MLA Rajeev Sharma, DDC Suresh Sharma, former VC Daljit Chib, DDC Sharda Bhau, Convenor Border Cell Jai Singh, Mandal President Manga Ram, Sham Singh and other party leaders were also present.
