Former Malaysia Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi, dies at the age of 85

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmed Badavi, who promised reforms after taking his an iron predetermined Mahathir Mohammed, but criticized for the leadership of Karna, died, his family said.

The 85 -year -old died in the hospital on Monday after a disease.

He will be buried on Tuesday after the state funeral.

Describing Abdullah as a friend and a statue of great character, Anwar said that he led a face that “was not angry, the hands that did not grab in power, and a voice that was never raised despite tireless attacks”.

“When I was struggling during a dark episode in my life, Abdullah never added to injury with derogatory words,” Anwar said, who went to jail under Mahathir’s rule.

Anwar said on Facebook, “This was the personality of Pakistan Lah, who always chose peace despite vengeance.”

“During his six years as Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah contributed significantly to the social and economic development of Malaysia,” said neighboring Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

Former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hussian Long said: “I knew Pakistan Lah, since we were before becoming PMS. He served his country with great dedication, tirelessly tried to deal with the challenges of Malaysia and uplift the lives of the Malaysian people.”
