Retired IAS Karni Singh Rathod
On December 20, a heartbreaking LPG tanker explosion occurred in Bancrota on the Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway, killing 13 people so far. After the accident, Karni Singh Rathore, a retired IAS officer from Rajasthan, also disappeared and his whereabouts are unknown. His car was found completely burned out at the scene.
A dead body at SMS Hospital on Saturday was identified as that of retired IAS Karni Singh Rathod. FSL confirmed this after comparing DNA samples from the daughters. While returning to Jaipur from Bankrota Agricultural Farm in the morning, his car was hit by an LPG tanker explosion. Rathore’s phone was switched off after the accident and police were trying to find him, but his death has now been confirmed. Retired IAS Karni Singh is a resident of Churu district and his hometown Lunasar-Churu is silent.
Horrifying LPG tanker explosion
A horrific explosion and fire broke out after an LPG tanker truck collided. In this accident, a total of 5 people were burned alive on the spot. Meanwhile, eight people died during treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital. One person died at a hospital in Jaipur. So far, 11 of the 13 dead have been identified. Meanwhile, the identities of the remaining individuals are being confirmed through DNA testing. The government had earlier put the death toll at 14, but an FSL investigation late Saturday night revealed that the bodies found in the package were not two but one.
13 people died, 40 cars destroyed
In this terrible fire, the fire spread about one kilometer and 40 cars were burned one after another. Thirteen people have been confirmed dead and more than 32 others were burned in the accident. Many videos of the horrifying scene have also surfaced. After the collision, a cloud of liquefied petroleum gas covered the area and smoke was visible everywhere. The gas caught fire somewhere and the fire spread throughout the area with a massive explosion. Police are trying to identify the body.
