Rajouri Expenditure Observer Sanjay Kumar has for the first time checked the expenditure of candidates in constituencies 83-Sunderbani Kalakote, 84-Noweshra, 85-Rajouri, 86-Budhal and 87-Thanamandi in the last two days.
The inspection is aimed at reviewing the financial records and expenditure details of candidates contesting in the ongoing 2024 parliamentary elections.
Sanjay Kumar reviewed the financial documents provided by the candidates to verify whether they had complied with the spending limits set by the Election Commission.
The review also focuses on ensuring the accuracy and transparency of records submitted by candidates.
Sanjay Kumar was assisted by the Assistant Expenditure Observer (AEO) and the Expenditure Monitoring and Accounting Team of Rajouri constituency. These teams provided support in verifying the records and ensuring a smooth inspection process.
