SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission has set a new record. For the first time, ordinary citizens have done a spacewalk in space 737 kilometers above the Earth. Such a unique work is being done 50 years after the completion of the Apollo mission. Mission commander Jared Isaacman did the first spacewalk in a new advanced pressurized suit. Watch its historic video below…
In the Polaris Dawn mission, four people have gone to space in the Dragon Crew Capsule. The names of these passengers are Commander Jared Isaacman, Pilot Scott ‘Kid’ Poteet, Mission Specialist Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon. Isaacman is a rich entrepreneur. He is also funding this mission.

Poteet is a former lieutenant colonel of the US Air Force. Both Gillis and Menon are engineers of SpaceX. Isaacman and Gillis will do a private spacewalk for the first time. That is, they will walk in space. At this time the height of the Dragon capsule will be around 1400 km. This is the highest crew mission since the Apollo era. Poteet, Gillis and Menon have gone to space for the first time. Isaacman went to space in the Inspiration 4 mission in September 2021.
Congratulations @SpaceX Dragon team, @rookisaacman and the crew of @PolarisProgram!
