Food Agency appeals to the public to provide information
Food department official Hemant Yadav said a special drive against adulteration is being carried out across the state as demand for milk, cheese and sweets increases during the festival. Therefore, adulterers sell fake and contaminated food products, which may have adverse effects on people’s health. Hemant Yadav also appealed to the public to complain about adulteration, for which the government would provide incentives and keep the identities of complainants confidential.
