Lebanon is currently in a state of panic. The reason for this situation is a series of serial explosions. Following the explosion of a pager in Lebanon on Tuesday, another walkie-talkie explosion occurred on Wednesday. So far, the attack has killed 14 people and injured more than 450 people. News of explosions in many areas of the capital Beirut has been revealed. One of the explosions occurred during the funeral of the son of Hezbollah MP Ali Ammar. He was killed in the explosion in Pegu on September 17. Hezbollah has also recently purchased walkie-talkies that explode like pagers.

In addition to walkie-talkies, solar panels used in homes also exploded in Lebanon on Wednesday. This happened in many areas of Beirut. Lebanese Hezbollah fighters use these walkie-talkies to communicate with each other. This is the second major technological attack in Lebanon amid tensions in the Middle East. Earlier, British Reuters reported that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad had planted explosives in 5,000 Hezbollah pagers.

Hezbollah launches missiles at Israel

At the same time, Hezbollah fired missiles in retaliation against Israel. According to reports, Lebanon fired about 20 rockets at the town of Shmona. The IDF said some rockets were intercepted. There is no news of any injuries. Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack, claiming that the target was an Israeli military base. In fact, Hezbollah threatened to retaliate after the pager exploded. In view of this, Israel has been alert. Israel has deployed 20,000 troops on the Lebanese border.

Netanyahu meets with President

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog held security briefings on Wednesday morning. In addition to this, Israeli Army Chief of Staff General Halevy held a meeting with senior military commanders. He quickly took stock of offensive and defensive preparations. Citizens have been asked to remain alert and vigilant. However, the Israeli military refused to answer questions about the pager explosion in Lebanon.

After months of operations in the Gaza Strip under the Southern Command, Israel has now decided to deploy the IDF’s 98th Division in northern Israel. The decision comes amid growing tensions with Hezbollah. The Paratrooper and Commando Divisions will now join the 36th Division under the Northern Command. In late August, the 98th Division, consisting of about 20,000 soldiers, withdrew from Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Hezbollah leader asks not to use phones

In fact, after the Hamas attack on October 7 last year, the pro-Iranian Hezbollah leader Nasrallah had released a video warning his fighters not to use mobile phones. He had said that Israel could tell everything and know the location, so stay away from mobile phones. Hezbollah believed that if terrorists gave up mobile phones and used pagers, the threat would be avoided. But Israel, one step ahead of the enemy, took such a move that explosions began to occur in Hezbollah’s houses.

On Tuesday night, the terrorists in Lebanon were shocked and could not believe why their country was bombed one after another. He did not understand what kind of events were happening around him. Following other bombings, not only in Lebanon, similar chaos broke out in many parts of Syria. Hezbollah could not understand why so many explosions occurred simultaneously in different locations within an hour? The world was even more surprised when it was learned that all these explosions were carried out with pager bombs.

The most dangerous surgery of the century!

Israel remained silent about it, but now everyone wants to know what technology Israel used, so everyone from Hamas to Hezbollah is scared. The events in Lebanon can be called the most dangerous operation of this century. Because perhaps for the first time, Israel transformed a small pager into a dangerous and deadly weapon. The pager became a weapon in this operation. The same pager used to exchange messages.

But on Tuesday, the small pager rocked Beirut, Lebanon. Beirut, Dahiya, Bekaa, Nabatiya, Bint Jubail, southern Beirut and southern Lebanon were targeted. The explosion also caused panic in many parts of Syria. The son of Hezbollah MP Ali Amar was also killed in the explosion. In addition, Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani was also injured. He had a deep wound in his eye. It is understood that his vision was also severely affected.

Lebanon bans pagers

Such explosions and the damage they caused shocked the world. Everyone was surprised to see this electronic warfare. Who was behind these pager explosions? Lebanon and Hezbollah directly blamed Israel for this. It is understood that the pagers that exploded were recently given to its members by Hezbollah for use. Since the beginning of the Gaza battle, Hezbollah has issued a warning to its members. It is forbidden to use mobile phones. And pagers are provided for contact. But Israel converted these pagers into the deaths of Hezbollah fighters. Since then, the Lebanese government has banned the use of pagers.
