In Bengaluru, a woman’s body was found inside a refrigerator, which had been kept closed for 19 days. The body was cut into about 40 pieces. Mahalakshmi separates from husband after four years of marriage
Mahalakshmi and her husband lived a happy life. They both have a daughter. Until 2023, everything is fine with him. Later, her husband suspected that she was having an extramarital affair, and the two separated. The daughter lived with Hemant Das, while Mahalakshmi lived alone in a rented house in Vyalikwal area for five months. She used to visit Hemant’s house every 15 days to visit her daughter.

Husband once doubted Mahalakshmi
According to the investigation, the reason for the distance between Hemant and Mahalakshmi is because of a love triangle. Hemant suspected that an affair was going on between Ashraf and Mahalakshmi, a barber from Uttarakhand. There used to be a lot of quarrels between Hemant and Mahalakshmi over this matter. Due to this quarrel, Mahalakshmi started separating from her husband Hemant about nine months ago. Lived with my mother and sister for a few months and moved to a rental house five months ago.
Mahalakshmi’s mobile phone found in room
During the search of the house, police also found Mahalakshmi’s mobile phone. When checking the CDR (call detail record) of the mobile phone, it was found that the last call made by the mobile phone was on September 2. Since September 2, the phone has not made any calls or received any calls. Based on this, Bengaluru police speculated that Mahalakshmi was murdered between September 2 and 3. Police interrogate husband and hairdresser
The Bengaluru police interrogated Mahalakshmi’s husband Hemant Das and barber Ashraf at length, but after preliminary interrogation of both of them, the police concluded that the two were related to Mahalakshmi’s murder has no connection whatsoever. Nothing suspicious was found in the location and call records of the two people’s mobile phones from September 2 to September 19.
The police suspect a stranger
Ever since Mahalakshmi came to live here, she did not talk or associate with anyone. The neighbor told her that she went to work at 9:30 am every day and came home at 10:30 pm.
