Recently, during an interview, he was seen remembering some old stories related to the film world. He also shared an anecdote about Dharmendra.
Mukesh Rishi fell at the feet of Dharmendra
In a conversation with Radio Nasha Official, Mukesh Rishi told that he has worked in many films with Bollywood’s hero Dharmendra. The actor also said that he has been a big fan of his. He also remembered his first meeting with Dharmendra. Mukesh says- When I first came to know that Dharmendra had come to the set, I did not go to meet him. I kept remembering my lines. When I reached the set for shooting, he was already present there, but I did not even look at him. I went straight to doing my scene. Whereas Dharmendra Sahab’s picture was hanging in my cupboard.
He further said, ‘As if the shoot was completed. I ran to Dharmendra Saheb. I fell at his feet. I did not look at him before shooting the scene, because I had respect for him. If I had looked at him, I would not have been able to shoot the scene at all. The actor says that ‘No one teaches you how to respect elders. This thing has to be learned on one’s own. Mukesh Rishi also looked a little emotional remembering the old times.
