Fierce competition between Jio, Airtel, BSNL and Vi, know who wins in terms of new subscribers

Jio vs Airtel vs BSNL vs Vi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, or BSNL, has been making headlines for the past few months. If you are using BSNL SIM card in your smartphone, then this is good news for you. BSNL has set a new record. The government company has now left Jio, Airtel and Vi behind when it comes to growing its user base. The appeal towards BSNL has suddenly increased in recent months.

Let us tell you that ever since Jio, Airtel and Vi increased their plan prices, customers’ preference towards BSNL has increased again. A big reason for this is that government companies are still offering recharge plans at the old prices. There also seems to be little chance of BASNL recharge plan price increase in the future.

BSNL beats everyone

Recently, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI, released data. In September, major telecom companies in the country, including Jio, Airtel and Vi, reportedly lost 10 million customers. Government telecom company BSNL continued its dominance this month. In September, only BSNL added customers. 8.5 lakh new users joined BSNL in September.

Jio suffers huge losses

Jio lost over 7.9 million subscribers in September. Among them, more than 4.6 million Jio users use wireless services. If we talk about Airtel, it lost around 14.34 million subscribers this month. Vi also suffered huge losses this month. More than 1.5 million users have left Vi. After this loss, Airtel now has only 383.4 million subscribers left. Meanwhile, Vi currently has only 21.24 billion users left.

BSNL’s Bat Bat.

After over 8.49 lakh users joined BSNL in September, the government company’s total customer base has now reached Rs 9.18 crore. The company’s chairman and managing director has made it clear that the company will not increase the price of the tariff plan in any way in the coming days. At the same time, BSNL has also stepped up the pace of 4G tower installation to increase the number of customers.

Let us tell you that while BSNL has taken the lead in wireless subscribers, the broadband segment is still dominated by Jio, Airtel and Vi. Jio currently has 477 million broadband customers. Airtel has approximately 285 million users. Vi has a total of 126 million broadband subscribers, while BSNL has 370 million subscribers.
