Father jumps into pond to save son who fell into water, both die

A father and his son drowned in a pond in Latur. They both went to the pond to bathe their cows. Then the son started drowning. The father saw his son drowning and went to save him. In the meantime, he also drowned in the pond. In this way, both of them drowned.

At around 4 pm on September 17, 42-year-old farmer Tirupati Baburao Pawar and his 12-year-old son Namdev Tirupati Pawar went to a pond near the farm to bathe the cows. At the same time, suddenly a bull walked into the deep water of the pond. In order to bring him back to the shore, 12-year-old Namdev Pawar went after him, but as he did not know the depth of the pond water, Namdev began to drown.

Seeing his son drowning, Namdev’s father Tirupati Baur jumped into the water. But unfortunately, the father’s efforts to save his son also failed, and both Tirupati and Namdev drowned. After receiving information about the incident, Inspector Munde of Jalkot police station immediately rushed to the spot and fished the bodies of the two out of the water.

The bodies were then taken to the Jalkot Municipal Hospital for an autopsy. After the autopsy, the bodies of the father and son were cremated together. Tirupati Pawar survived, leaving behind his wife and four daughters. After this incident, there was a wave of mourning in the village.
