Fadnavis arrives in Delhi and meets Amit Shah, likely to discuss Cabinet matters

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis arrived to meet the President.

Amid discussions on Maharashtra cabinet expansion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis came to meet Amit Shah. It is believed that the issue of expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet may be discussed at this meeting. Prior to this, Fadnavis arrived in Delhi and met President Draupadi Murmu. He later went to meet Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

It has been a week since the government was formed in Maharashtra but the ministries are yet to be divided. It is believed that there are still disputes between the three parties of the Grand Alliance on some ministry issues. Meanwhile, Devendra Fadnavis reached Delhi alone and held a meeting with Amit Shah.

Fadnavis met President Draupadi Murmu after arriving in Delhi. During this meeting, Fadnavis showed him the statue of Lord Vitthal-Rukmini, the deity of Maharashtra. He then also went to the Vice President Secretariat where he met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and shared his photo. During his visit to Delhi, Fadnavis also met Defense Ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari.

Posting a photo with Fadnavis on social media, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote that he met the energetic Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavi Sri Lanka. It is believed that his third term as chief minister will inject new impetus into the development of Ma State. I sincerely wish him success in his future tenure. During the meeting with Gadkari, Fadnavis was accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party Maharashtra unit president Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
