How was the truth revealed?

We have seen more than one person in the comments section of viral posts. tweets like this In which it was said that this person is breaking the broken glass with a hammer to replace it. On looking closely at the video, a crack can also be seen at the bottom of the glass.

A train named “Trains of India” X Account uploaded another video of changing the glass of Vande Bharat train and told that the broken glass of Vande Bharat is replaced in this way. Who is the person breaking the glass?

To find out the truth of this video, we searched its different key frames on the internet. We found a video on Instagram by the name @singare_mahi_manish an account We found a video in which a person wearing the same shirt and having the same build had uploaded many more videos. The special thing is that many of these videos were related to Vande Bharat train. In the viral video, the face of the boy breaking the glass is not visible but for a moment it is visible from the side that he has a beard. Seeing the same shirt, same build, beard on the face and videos related to Vande Bharat, we felt that this person may have some connection with the viral video and we gathered more information about him.

We found that this person also makes dance reels and uploads them on Instagram. In some of his posts, we saw Gujarati poster We also saw this account. The name of the account is written as ‘Singer Manish’. We tried to contact many of Manish’s friends through this account. One of them confirmed that Manish indeed works in a private company doing railway maintenance work in Ahmedabad.

The same friend told that Manish is from his village in Ara district of Bihar. Despite not being able to see the face, the friend said that he can recognize that this boy is his friend Manish and he knows that he works in Ahmedabad repairing broken windows of Vande Bharat train.

Railway officials had earlier said that they do not know where this incident took place and who this person is. But when we contacted them again with complete information about Manish, two senior railway officials confirmed that the incident is indeed from Ahmedabad. They said that this video is from the inspection of Ahmedabad-Mumbai Vande Bharat at the Integrated Coaching Depot in Kankaria. According to them, this video is from 5-6 days ago.

Railway officials also said that the window glass is being broken only to replace it. It was also confirmed that the name of this person is Manish Kumar Gupta, who is an employee of a company working on contract with the railways. Manish had first shared this video himself but after the uproar, he deleted this video from his account.

We also spoke to Manish Gupta. He did admit that the person seen in the video is him. But he said that his officers have forbidden him from talking about this.

It is clear that the video of changing the glass of Vande Bharat in the railway maintenance yard is being shared with fake claims of attack on the train and rail jihad.
