There is news of an explosion in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. One person has been injured in this incident. The injured person has been admitted to NRS Medical College Hospital.
According to reports, on Saturday at around 1:45 PM, the Taltala police station received information about a suspicious bag. While the bag was being checked, it exploded, injuring a garbage picker.
This explosion took place on the spot where a plastic bag was kept at Blochman St. and SN Banerjee Road. A person passing by tried to pick up the bag after which it exploded.
