New Delhi: Replying to a question related to sambal in an exclusive interview to India TV, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi said that no changes can be made to any religious place in the country under the Places of Worship Act. When such a law is enacted, lower courts can only make decisions based on that law.
When Owaisi was asked if he was afraid of the investigation? “People are not worried about the investigation, just that it will damage the social fabric of the country,” Owaisi said. “There will be law and order problems in the country.” As such, the investigation breached the Places of Worship Act 1991. Apart from Babri Masjid and Ram Mandir, no other issue can be brought before the court in this way.
Regarding the controversy related to Sambhal, Owaisi said the right of entry was sought under Section 18 but the judge ordered an inquiry. Complete surveys within hours. This does not happen in any other case except Ram Mandir Babri Masjid case. They want to create unrest across the country in the name of investigation.
Owaisi said that five innocent poor people were killed in Sambal. These people are from working-class families. Owaisi said there was no conflict between Patans and Turks in Sambal. This Yogi government is proposing such theories to cover up its errors. Owaisi said the petitioner in the Sambhar case was the standing counsel appointed by the Uttar Pradesh government and he filed the case against the Uttar Pradesh government.
