“Who is responsible for these murders?”

Former Bihar Deputy Prime Minister Tejashwi Yadav expressed anger over the incident, saying: “Under the protection of power, 27 people have been murdered due to poisoned liquor. Dozens of people have lost their lives. Eyesight. There is a purported ban on liquor in Bihar but the ruling leaders – liquor is available at every junction due to police and mafia links.”

He further said that so many people lost their lives but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not even express condolences. Hundreds of people are dying every day in Bihar due to drug, alcohol and crime, but this is normal for the chief minister, the pioneer of unethical and unprincipled politics and his kitchen cabinet.

Tejashwi Yadav says no matter how many people are killed, any action is shameful if taken against any officer? Instead, will they be rewarded? If liquor is available at every corner despite prohibition, isn’t that a failure of the Home Ministry and the Chief Minister? Is the Chief Minister conscious? Is the Chief Minister capable and able to think and act on such incidents? Who is responsible for these murders?
