Ravi Kumar beat his 14-year-old son severely with a cricket bat and then threw his head against a wall. The son was beaten at 8 a.m., then lay on the ground moaning, and his condition worsened. His condition was brought to the attention of his family after he stopped breathing around 2 p.m. Later, his father took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
