Amidst the ongoing war with Russia, Ukrainian soldiers have entered some Russian areas. Russia has claimed that Ukrainian soldiers have penetrated 30 km inside Russia. Meanwhile, Russia’s Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov visited Rakitnoye village of Belgorod on Monday. This village is one of the places where people evacuated from areas bordering Ukraine are being kept.
Ukrainian troops have entered the areas bordering Russia, due to which officials are evacuating some parts of the Belgorod region.
The governor of Belgorod said that he has ordered officials to transfer people from one district of the city to another area of the city for safety reasons.
The governor said on telegram, ‘The enemies are active on the border of Krasnoyaruzhsky district. For the safety of our people, we are taking the people of the district to safe places. I am confident that our army will give its all to deal with the threat.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukrainian troops have entered the Krusk area and the conflict has been going on for 6 days.
Russia increased security in these areas
In view of the infiltration of Ukrainian troops, Russia has implemented tight security arrangements in Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. Here, Russia’s ally Belarus has said that Ukraine has violated its airspace by using drones on its border and hence it is increasing the number of troops on its border.
Russian officials say that Ukraine wants to show its Western supporters that it can still conduct major military operations by attacking Russia’s sovereign territories.
What did Ukraine say about the intrusion into Russian territory?
Ukraine was till now silent about the entry of Ukrainian army into Russian territories but now President Volodymyr Zelensky has broken his silence on this. He said Ukraine had infiltrated Russian territory to “restore justice” and put pressure on Moscow’s forces.
The war between Russia and Ukraine started on 24 February 2022 and is continuing till now. In this war, Ukraine has the support of western countries including America.
