Embassy REIT CEO Aravind Maiya resigns following SEBI directive; interim CEO to be appointed

Embassy Office Parks, India’s largest real estate investment trust, said on Tuesday that Aravind Maiya will resign as CEO of Embassy REIT with immediate effect.

The decision was taken soon after India’s markets regulator SEBI directed Embassy REIT’s management company Embassy Office Parks Management Services to suspend Maiya with an interim order. The regulator also notified the embassy on Monday of the appointment of an interim chief executive, effective immediately.
